Celebrating the life of William Tyndale - an exhibition
From 10am-1pm on Thursday 4th June to Saturday 6th June Ide Congregational Chapel are staging an exhibition of the life and work of William Tyndale in pictures and words. 500 years ago this year, William Tyndale translated the New Testament into English from the Greek original manuscripts. In 1526 New Testaments in their thousands were being smuggled into England because it was strictly forbidden to own, or read a copy of the scriptures in English. In 1536 Tyndale was finally caught and burned at the stake in Vilvoord, Belgium.

Family Fun Summer Carnival
From 11am to 3pm on Saturday 18th July at the Deepway Centre in Exminster is a family fun day Supporting SNUG. Jonga Magic will be doing a magic show and Dark Elegance will be doing some face painting.
There will be a bake sale, raffle, coconut shy, hook a duck and many more!
Model Railway Exhibition
10am-5pm on Saturday 11th July and 10am-4pm on Sunday 12th July at Matford Livestock Centre. This year they have several layouts where you can have a go, so something for everyone. Entry fee is £10, accompanied children are free.
